Full Scale Wastewater Test Site Goes Live
Vancouver, June 1, 2008:
A privately held Canadian company is testing a radical, new wastewater management process using a proprietary reactor and compound.
PierWay Environmental Inc. of West Vancouver, BC has designed and engineered a radical new process that exceeds all current wastewater management practice. The process eliminates the trucking of dangerous sludge to landfills and illuminates the need to use chemical sludge thick-
eners (flocculates).
The patented process destroys dangerous pathogens. And removes or reduces noxious odors from landfills & compost sites. Levels of poisonous ammonia nitrogen re-introduced into streams, rivers, lakes and oceans is also significantly reduced.
The process yields a resalable by-product / substrate and will generate
self sustaining cash flow for the medium-sized municipalities that are anticipated to be the first PierWay users.
The company has designed and built a full-scale wastewater research reactor housed in a BC municipal sewage plant to demonstrate its patented process and technology. Results will be made available after a rigorous testing process is completed. To find out more
